The Shelter Collection is live! When Erin Reitz pitched a rebrand for her gorgeous line of homewares I was très stoked. I've always wanted to watch one of my logos sink into wet clay with a little metal stamp, but that will still take some time. In the mean time the brand is out and about.
The Shelter Collection “is a line of hand blown glassware and hand thrown ceramics designed in South Carolina and made in North Carolina.” Erin designs these little wonders and then partners with STARworks for production. STARworks, a non-profit in Star, NC, provides the community with an amazing arts program that provides educational programs and business ventures, as well as access to the studio facilities.
Elizabeth Ervin photographed all of the pieces beautifully, which made my presentation look ten times more professional than it should have. Go make your kitchen prettier and check out the journal. We messed around with the post templates a ton to make it feel more editorial and Shelter Collection-y.
