Ah, The Ordinary! Charleston’s only grand oyster hall and one of the Holy City’s most delicious dining experiences; the highly acclaimed restaurant’s menu is an ever-changing ode to the fruits of the sea. Opened with much fanfare by James Beard award winner Mike Lata, the cuisine is a wonderful mix of high and low brow seafood best paired with rum cocktails of yore.
The name and logo function together and individually throughout the restaurant, from hand-painted signs to bold banners to the greasy parchment underneath the most delicious lobster roll. The objective was to “introduce Lata’s new restaurant to local, regional, and national audiences and engage critics, taste-makers and everyday visitors.” In addition to branding, Fuzzco assisted with naming and interior design.
