In 2019 the duo behind Charleston’s beloved Short Grain opened up Jackrabbit Filly in Park Circle, North Charleston.

Named after Shuai and Corrie Wang’s Chinese zodiacs, Jackrabbit Filly proudly serves “heritage-driven New Chinese American cuisine.” While focusing the restaurant’s identity primarily on the rabbit and horse, we’ve been introducing the full suite of animals with each Chinese New Year being sure to create each character out of ovals and fragments of ovals, for you know… balance and harmony. ☯︎
